Dear Families,
We will be having a low key Valentine’s
Day celebration sometime during the day on Tuesday, February 14th.
Please remember: If you choose to send valentines, include one for every child
in the class. We have 27 children in the class. Please wait until February 14th
to send the valentines to school and have your child keep them in their
backpack. You may send candy, but
children will not be allowed to eat any candy until they have arrived home.
If you would like to donate snacks or beverages
for our celebration, please let me know so that I know we have enough. We also
need paper plates and napkins. Please no
nuts, dairy products and no homemade treats. If your child has special
dietary needs and you would prefer a small treat from home, please send it with
them on Tuesday. Thanks!
Treat Ideas:
carrots, applesauce, string cheese, fruit leathers
HOMEWORK: please decorate a small bag (lunch size) or shoebox
to collect your valentines. You may bring it on Tuesday February 14th.
